What are Wavemakers?

Learning to Surf

On August 7, 2019, after leaving worship service later than usual (due to a baptism), two teenage girls from the country, went from earthly rejoicing to their heavenly reward. These girls didn’t just make ripples, they made waves. Every person we meet is going through something. Ella and Aranza made sure everyone they met felt loved and wanted. In their honor, the intentional Wavemaker Life Ministry began. We want to share it with as many people as possible. What kind of ripples do you want to make? And why settle for ripples if you can make waves?

Christy serves as our primary photographer, graphic designer, scribe, and chief encourager. she prefers these behind-the-scenes roles, but when she speaks, it's wise to listen!

Christy has endured the waves of grief. Instead of succumbing to their depths, she chooses to surf. Christy taught her girls (and many others) to embrace life, love Jesus, and live each day to the fullest. Despite the storms of life, Christy remains steadfast in her daily choice of joy.
